SUMMARY:The Italian Job - Thornbridge Tap Room
DESCRIPTION:Come watch a screening of the classic 1969 film\, The Italian Job\, at the wonderful Thornbridge Brewery Tap Room. Pizza and Beer to order.\n\n\nAn indoor screening of the classic\, 1969 film\, The Italian Job. \nHosted at the wonderful Thornbridge Tap Room\, using our silent cinema screening kit\, we’re having the first of a series of screenings planned for the winter months. A silent screening does not mean there’s no sound\, just that you wear headphones to listen to the film. We provide all the equipment. \nThornbridge will have the bar open and you’ll be able to order their tasty pizza on the night too\, to munch at whilst watching the film. \nHow does a silent cinema work?\nWe broadcast the film sound from small transmitter. We give you a receiver and some headphones so that you can hear the sound. You can bring your own headphones (if you wish)\, but they must use a standard stereo connector\, we CAN’T connect bluetooth headphones currently. \nWhy are we screening it silently?\nBy screening it silently we’re able to provide a better sound experience in an open space\, such as the Tap Room. It will also allow Thornbridge to open the bar to other members of the public\, without disturbing the viewing experience\, or letting others listen in without a ticket. This means we can keep the ticket prices down for you. \nWhat will I need to bring?\nJust yourself and any friends\, oh and maybe some way to pay for a beer or pizza. Otherwise\, we provide a seat\, headphones and all the kit for a great screening experience. \nWhat time does it start and finish?\nThe sun goes down at 19:10 on the scheduled date\, we’ll start the film soon after that\, probably about 19:20. Lower light provides a better screening experience. The film lasts for 95 mins\, so we expect it to finish about 21:00. \nGot more questions?\nThat’s fine! Any questions relating to this screening\, please get in touch with us – hello@hopevalleycinema.com \nMatt & Ed

DESCRIPTION:A screening of Reel Rock 17 – Three amazing films\, representing the best of climbing films from the last year.\n\nDon’t miss three heart-stopping new films featuring the year’s biggest climbing and adventure stories: a wild expedition on Nameless Tower in Pakistan; a new cutting-edge route in a massive limestone cave in France; and a journey to Palestine’s West Bank to explore the power of climbing to change lives.
